GMARC  Minutes for January, 2003

 

1. Call to order

The first meeting of the new year was called to order by President, Scott at 7:04p.m. Introductions were made by the following individuals in attendance:

2. Treasurer's Report

From Richard Glassford

Increased by $200; our account was  at $605.44 minus $25 for coffee fee brings total to $580.44

3. By-laws

The by-law changes were e-mailed to all current members. Ballot vote was taken by Vice-president Jeff Skurda. Secretary Kevin Hascher counted votes changes were passed.

President Scott Bicknell opened club to all interested in amateur radio wanting to be complementary to other clubs with focus on emergence communications.

4. Guess speaker

Mary Mendelson

Marty talked about sky warn and races.

5.Field Day

Field day was brought up Stu Satern to Chair with Leo, Chuck, And Ed to find acceptable site.

6. New Business

Richard said 440 repeater is being fixed  and GM is willing to pay $350

Photo's to be sent to Scott. Please included name, call years paid for.

Jeff put motion to pay spectri site, Richard seconded, and vote was taken. 

Richard will pay when it comes in.

Ed motioned to close at 8:10 meeting and it carried. 

Scott thanked every one for coming.
