The  meeting was called to order by president, Scott at 7:13 p.m. Introductions were made.

Minutes: Minutes were read called to accept December minutes by  Dave Ragon and  seconded by Bill Bond.  Minutes Passed

Treasurer's Report

From T.J.Iley 

Treasure's report was given by T.J. Rent paid and two new members with one renewal. Robert Corr  called for approval and seconded by George Schutte motion passed.

Tech report: 

From Jeff Skurda

Larry was going to look at antenna. Jeff asked Please I.D. with call some people have not been I.D.ing Question was asked about echo-link. You do not have to let repeater drop, but wait for courtesy tone. Scott and Jeff said they would check buffers for echo-link. Scott said that over 1000 people have used echo-link and as of January 300 people have used it. Some people are becoming regulars on the echo-link.

Two meter paper work was taken care of.

Club status as non-profit is being worked on.

Web page:  Web hosting was moved and things should be running smoother. Any problems or suggestions should be sent to web master mailto:webmaster@gmarc.org

Scott asked for actives director, Bob Corr suggested have people volunteer for each month. Then asked to do March.

Jim Wickstrom talked about chat rooms voice over internet. Great way to talk to people for free using the internet. For more information see USECA web page http://www.useca.net/ look for team speak.

 

Food!

George Schutte mentioned USECA's February 26th spaghetti dinner will be for a $7.00 donation for adults and $5.00 for children under 10. Also that he would  have tickets next meeting. Jim Wickstrom mentioned that they were going to try and have door prizes.
