GMARC January meeting minutes
N8YIO Jeff Menig, club president, called meeting to order @ 7:11 PM on January 18,2005.
N8XN Jeff made motion to begin meeting; K8OX Rich seconded the motion. Motion carried.
N8RUH T.J. presented the treasurer's report: The GMARC as of the beginning of the year had $1,040 in account and now currently has $1,559 after dues renewals.
Introductions were made by club members.
N8XN Jeff gave the technical report: repeaters working just fine.
Spectrasite & Hines Management are doing inventory & ownership of property @ RenCen.
N8YIO Jeff discussed meeting w/ GM management concerning club affiliation ties with GM company to strengthen bond.
K8CY Bobby mentioned Hazel Park swap- well attended & club brochures passed out to potential members at club table. He also stated that it gives the club some recognition.
W1BIC Scott made motion to purchase table @ local swaps. N5WCS Mike seconded the motion. Motion voted on and carried.
KC8RPL Bob inquired about using GM official logo on website. The question will be investigated with GM legal staff.

WN1B Scott will be instructing Ham University at the Macomb Community College Center Campus located on Garfield Rd. south of Hall Rd. on Feb. 19th and 20th. 0900-1800 local time Sat./ 0900-1300 Sun. This will be in the H-building 2nd floor. Please read the 5th edition of Now You're Talking before class. N8OZ Joe will have VE testing following instruction. The club raffled off the Yaesu FT-50R and 2 meter amplifier donated by Tri-County Communications. N8YJI Dina won the Yaesu FT-50R handheld, and KC8ZZP John won the 2 meter amp. Congratulations to both. Our club appreciates Tom from Tri-County Communication for his donation to help the club.
