GMARC MEETING MINUTES FOR JANUARY 2006
I. Meeting begins at 7:00pm, January 17th, 2006. Joe, N80Z starts and conducts the meeting.
II. Introductions of club members, with a few special guests from the Tri-State K-9 Search & Rescue
III. Minutes from December: A motion to accept the minutes was made by Chuck, N8ZA and seconded by Mike, N5WCS. Vote passes.
IV. Treasurer’s report is presented by TJ, N8RUH. The club has a balance of $1878.88.
V. Old Business presented by Bobby, N8CY. The club has a total of 56 active members. A reminder that 2006 dues are payable!
VI. Technical Committee presented by Chuck, N8ZA. Chuck concluded that the repeater is running smoothly and is not sensitive, as before.

Club Liaison Report given by George, K8GEO. Discussed upcoming events such as: Morse Code at L’anse
Creuse, Jan. 23rd for free;

IX. New Business presented by Chuck, N8ZA.
A) Chuck received an eMail from Ann-Marie, K8AMR at SATERN. February third through fifth, SATERN is looking to use the repeater for the Super Bowl emergency communications only. A motion to allow the use of the repeater by SATERN in February was given by Rich, K8OX. Chuck, N8ZA seconded the motion. Vote passes.
B) MI QSO party is on April 15th from Noon to Midnight. For more information go to http://www.miqp.org

XII. Guest Speakers from Tri-State K-9 Search and Rescue, Larry KD8CRA and Ethyl. They are looking for communications help and discussed the procedures to K-9 Search and rescue.
