We have 47 members in good standing, who have paid their 2007 dues.
VI. Nets and Newsletter (Discussion)
Dave Rose VK5FDMR has been a very active participant on Monday night net. Scott W1BIC plans to put together a box of GM memorabilia and send it to Dave. If you would like to make a donation, please see Scott. Motion to make Dave VK5FDMR and honorary member by Mike N5WCS, and seconded by Rich K8OX. Motion passed.

KZ8N noted that we need a list of HF frequencies used for Emergency
Communications, and the states that monitor them. No action taken.

X. President's Remarks
The Club still needs someone to take over “Blue Bucket Duty” from Ray N8UY – who is no longer active in the Club.
The Rochester Crop Walk will be held Sunday

It was suggested and approved that we have a second date for a trunk swap on 12-Apr-08 (2 weeks before Easter).
The 2008 Club Picnic will be held Saturday 25-Aug-08 beginning at 10:00 AM at Stony Creek Metropark – Gladeview ‘A’. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

XI. New Business
Motion by Dave WD8IFL to start the process to eliminate the requirement from our By-Laws that require the President to be a GM Employee. Seconded by Ray W8PIE. After a brief discussion the motion was withdrawn by WD8IFL.
Wes KD8DHS inquired if it is possible to obtain a listing in GM Socrates for the GM Amateur Radio Club. No action was taken.
Bill W8WRB made a motion to remove the requirement from our By-Laws that require the President to be a GM Employee. There was no second for this motion.
Motion by Jeff N8XN, seconded by Mike N5WCS to leave By-Laws as they are – which requires that the President be a Full-time GM Employee. Motion passed.
The 50/50 raffle winner was Kurt WU8V - $30.00. ($30 to the Club). There was a
$1 Booby prize awarded to George KB8VQP.
26 Members attended, and there were 3 Visitors.
