Ingo DL5AL took Elements 2, 3, 4 and is now an Amateur Extra in the
U.S. – New Call AC8AW.
Minutes of the 18-Feb-08 meeting are available at the meeting and on the GMARC Web Site.
Motion to approve the February Minutes by Mike N5WCS and seconded by Kurt WU8V. Motion passed.
IV. Treasurer’s Report
Joel WU8Y, our Treasurer, was not present. Scott W1BIC reported that our Bank Balance is $1,591.09. No motion was made to approve the Treasurer’s report.

We have 24 members in good standing, who have paid their 2008 dues.

VII. Club Liaison Report
Mike N5WCS reported the L’Anse
Creuse ARA will have a meeting the first Wednesday in April at :30 PM where
they will allow those present to build the G5RV HF antenna – cost is $10. The
contact at L’Anse Creuse is Jim Stafford KB8LFE.

OnStar Liaison Report – Bob KZ8N.
KZ8N noted that we need a list of HF frequencies used for Emergency
Communications, and the states that monitor them. No action taken.

Larry KD8CRA noted that he needs volunteers for K-9 Search & Rescue (SAR). Don K7SDF noted that there were (35) votes at the SAR Poll on the Yahoo! Groups Web Site. There were (4) respondents.
There was no 50/50 raffle.
